10 books that have stayed with me.. along with a few of my favourite things..
1) Daughter of Smoke and Bone - Laini Taylor {Beautiful story, I devoured the first two books in this trilogy and I can’t wait for Book 3.}
2) Stardust - Neil Gaiman {A great adventure I loved when I was younger}
3)The Old Man and The Sea - Ernest Hemingway {I have been reading this book every summer for as many years at the lake for as long as I can remember.. }
4) The Sugar Queen - Sarah Addison Allen {Learning to love yourself, open yourself up to new experiences, new friends, new love.. and it made my cherish my sister even more}
5) Graceling - Kristin Cashore {Kick ass, strong female.. doesn’t follow conventional gender roles and it is empowering}
6) Three Songs For Freedom - Maxine Trottier {I remember reading this book at my farm, and I just couldn’t put it down.. Coming of age story for the ages}
7) Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince - J.K. Rowling {Love the entire series, but I enjoyed this one the most. Harry Potter is one of the things my sister and I absolutely freak out on..}
8) The Fault in Our Stars - John Green {How John Green can write from the perspective a 16 y.o girl so profoundly is amazing. Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters’ story is too beautiful, and too heart wrenching.}
9) The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins {Strong female lead, I have read this books more than a few times.}
10) The Fellowship of The Ring - J.R.R. Tolkien {I read my Pops copies of The Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings, and The Silmarillion when I was young and I reread them now and again. Great Adventures =) }

Jack Skellington, R2-D2, Harry Potter (I made him out of polymer clay), Eiffel Tower, and The Tardis. The Jelly Sandwich necklace was a gift from a very special friend of mine, we worked together and I had heard about The Fault in Our Stars, and I was going to wait until it came out on paperback to buy and read it.. She disagreed with that notion and when I showed up at work the next day, her copy was sitting in my locker.. I read it in one sitting the next day.. I couldn’t put it down and I cried a lot. She also knew that I had seen the Peanut Butter and Jelly bff necklaces on Etsy and that I wanted them.. so she bought them for me.. I got Jelly and she got Peanut Butter. I love her friendship and her view of the world.
